Dr. Ali Khamis Saif Al Reesi earned his MD from Sultan Qaboos University in 2006. He obtained his fellowship training in Endocrinology and Metabolism from King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre in 2014. He possesses a Saudi Board certificate in Endocrinology and Metabolism, and Oman and Arab Board Certificate in Internal Medicine.

He is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians (FACP) and Fellow of the American College of Endocrinology (FACE), 2019.

He is currently working as a Consultant in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology at the Sohar Hospital in Oman where he is the Head of the Internal Medicine Department and Endocrinology and Diabetes Unit.

He is a member of various medical associations and societies such as the Oman Diabetes Association, American Association of Clinical
Endocrinologist (AACE), AACE Gulf Chapter, The American College of Physicians (ACP), and The Endocrine Society. He is also a board member of the Sohar Hospital committee.

His research interests include Diabetes in Pregnancy, Endocrine Disorders, Management of Thyroid Diseases, and Management of
Diabetic Emergencies.
