Saud Al Sifri currently holds the following positions at the Al Hada Armed Forces Hospitals. Taif. Saudi Arabia: Consultant Endocrinologist and Diabetologist. Supervisor of the Diabetes and Endocrine Specialist Center. Director of Postgraduate Residency Training Programme and Chairman of the Endocrinology and Diabetes Department. He is also currently an Honorary Professor of Medicine & Endocrinology at Taif University. In 1998. after completing his Arab Board of Internal Medicine and Saudi Board in Internal Medicine. Dr. Al Sifri joined the Fellowship programme of Endocrinology and Metabolism at King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre. Riyadh and then pursued further research fellowships in 2001 at Western Ontario University. Canada and fellowship Minnesota. US. He has also been awarded the Fellowship of Royal College of Physician. England. Dr. Al Sifri has an active presence in committees within the Al Hada Armed Forces Hospital. Additionally. he is also involved in many committees outside of the hospital. At present. this includes chairing the executive committee of the Saudi Society for Endocrinology & Metabolism. Taif and Vice-President of Saudi Diabetes Society. He has written and contributed to over 50 research papers and has peer-reviewed for three international journals in the field of diabetes and endocrinology. Over the years. Dr Al Sifri has received several honors and awards. including the International Donald Etzwiler Award for diabetes awareness and research in 2010.
