Dr. Mohammed Al Sofiani is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes, & Metabolism, College of Medicine, in King Saud University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He is also na Adjunct Assistant Professor, Endocrinology Division at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland, USA.

He completed his MBBS at King AbdulAziz University in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. He was a Resident for Internal Medicine at the University at Buffalo in New York, USA under the mentorship of Dr. Howard Lippes until 2016. He then proceeded with his Fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes, & Metabolism at Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, USA.

Consultant Endocrinologist and the Medical Director of Obesity, Endocrine and Metabolism Centre at King Fahad Medical City.

Graduated from King Saud University in Y2000, he obtained his Saudi Board of Internal Medicine from King Abdulaziz Medical City in 2006. Dr. AlZahrani acquired his Fellowship in Endocrinology and Diabetes at King Fahad Medical in 2009.

He also obtained his Doctorate Degree in Diabetes from the University of LEEDS, UK.
Dr. Saad AlZahrani is a member of several scientific societies and has published several papers in peer – reviewed medical journals.
